Discover the stunning island of Gran Canaria...

Ever-popular Gran Canaria is the third largest of the Canary Islands and the most geographically diverse with lush forests, rolling plateaus, sweeping sublime beaches and craggy volcanic landscapes.

Gran Canaria holidays have it all - family-friendly resorts, masses of attractions for all ages and buzzing nightlife. The island draws in everyone from newlyweds to families and groups of friends looking to live it up in the sunshine. The island enjoys a wonderful climate of year-round sunshine making it a great choice for a winter sun break.

Where to stay...

Playa del Ingles is the most popular destination in Gran Canaria and the second largest tourist resort in the whole of Spain! Situated on the sunny south coast, this mega-resort has everything you could need for the perfect beach break: two miles of fine white sands, water parks, amusement parks, zoos, water sports, golf courses, a huge range of restaurants and an excellent nightlife.

If you had a more relaxed holiday in Gran Canaria in mind, the neighbouring resort of Maspalomas is a fantastic choice. It is home to arguably the best beach on the island, as well as famous rolling sand dunes. The two highly-respected golf courses of Salobre Golf Resort are within easy reach.

A little farther along the coast is the chic resort of Puerto de Mogan. A former traditional fishing village, Mogan is a picturesque assortment of whitewashed buildings and miniature canals, which has lead it to being nicknamed 'Little Venice'.

On the southwest coast, Puerto Rico is said to be the sunniest spot on the whole island. A firm favourite with families, there is plenty to do in the resort including dolphin spotting and water sports. In the evenings, there are plenty of cocktail bars and clubs for older guests to enjoy.

In between Puerto de Mogan and Puerto Rico lie of the two of the finest beaches in Gran Canaria, Playa de Taurito and Playa de Amadores. The latter enjoys Blue Flag status and is a popular choice with couples looking for a romantic break in Gran Canaria.
