First impressions good check in swift room ready at 12.30 which we did not expect. Room 609 clean/ no sun specifically asked for sunny balcony by email as wife had just come out of hospital asked that evening if anything was available told to come back in morning/offered 4th floor over looking noisy road but declined they said our room 609 was sunny but assured them it was in shade all day. Lift not working all week to 6th floor had to use stairs or go to far side of hotel to use their lift causing long delays.No air conditioning to rooms had to leave patio door open to sleep very noisy throughout night and early morning holiday not suitable for r&r as Seniors. Food poor both in quantity and quality for first four days staff could not replenish quick enough for amount of people this eased later in the week with more staff and supervision, food improved. Staff at Ahloa 37 very courteous dined and enjoyed food and drinks surrounding garden area very well maintained, at some bars where manners and eagerness to serve by particular barmen left a lot to be desired. Recommend to pay more for the jaccuzzi and Adult only area.

We have been staying at this hotel for 20 years now and always have a wonderful holiday. The staff are always so welcoming, the rooms are always so clean and the food is second to none. We will be back again in 2017!
